It’s terrible.
Can we please just have the option to go to the old version
Utterly awful. Used to be clean, on one page and easy to see. Now have to scroll to find things. Poor work Garmin
I agree that it is terrible, I was so at home with the previous format and now am all at sea. Please can it be changed or give users the option to revert back?
Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I was able to get something close to what I had before the 5.0 update. The problem was that editing the home page on my iPhone 8 was not working properly. Going to Connect on the web did work. I was able to add everything I previously had into the “At a Glance” area and organize it the way I wanted which then appeared shortly afterwards on the Connect app.
I’m not sure how to add photos here or I’d provide screenshots. I disabled the “In Focus” section because I didn’t need or want that.
Everyone focuses on the new interface. Indeed, it could be more elegant. But most ignores the much bigger mess behind it. And that one is much more important!!!
An example from yesterday.
Sleep
I had to go to the toilet at 8:30. Then back into bed and continued sleeping. Garmin records sleep until 8:30 and the 1½ hours after that as a “little nap”. It is not clear what this does for body battery calculations.
Body battery
That looks like nothing at all.
Wednesday I ended up with 16
Screen somewhere Thursday night: +51 -63
So the result should be 16 + 51 – 63 = 4
Unfortunately, it is 16. ??????
And because this is a continuous sequence, by now none of the values are correct.
A TOTALLY INCONSISTANT MESS!!!
Oh, and if you look in the morning, the system already knows that the body battery at the end of the day will be the same as the previous day. AI???
Interestingly, the promotion on the website boasts about “earning badges” (?!) This provides insight about where Garmin is going. Maybe we will be able to have Candy Crush on the Home Screen soon. Ugh!! Does anyone know of a watch/program that is for athletes, BY athletes? It seems this is another service that has been hijacked by “techies” that think video games are exercise/sport.

Charging is displayed in the Body Battery
Sleep
It would be nice if you could post screenshots so that we can understand what the problem is.

Perhaps this thread can help you:
No, that's not what I mean. A -to my mind- deep sleep is classified as a nap. Not clear whether a nap is calculated differently by the body battery as a "regular" sleep. In other words, the calculation MAY be fundamentally wrong.
Screen somewhere Thursday night: +51 -63
The +/- values do reset at midnight
deep sleep is classified as a nap.

You wrote that you woke up and went to the toilet. So it was no longer sleep.
The watch ended your sleep.
So no „deep sleep“.
When you lay down again, it was recorded as a "nap". Not as sleep. Naps are recorded in the body battery.
Naps are shown in the body battery. Not in the sleep statistics.
Anyone have experience with Coros? It looks legit.
