Hydration feature isn’t restarting

My hydration feature isn't restarting when a new day begins. I sync my watch with the app before bed to make sure everything is tracked and recorded and then this morning (and for the past 4 mornings) I’m starting my day with 15-17+ cups of water already entered. Everything else (miles/steps/cals) restarts. When I go to the app, it doesn’t have any water entered for today. Is anyone else having this issue/does anyone know a fix?

    Yes, I have the exact same issue with my Venu. In the morning I see 0 cups in the app but on my watch I see the amount from yesterday. If I make any kind of update in the app (for example +1 and then - 1 ending in zero again) - the watch is updated with the correct amount. So I think the bug is that they sync the watch hydration only when there's an update in the app, and forgot to reset when a new day begins.
