Garmin Connect 4.12 keeps crashing - UPDATE

Connect Mobile 4.12, iOS 12.0.1, iPhone X, keeps crashing on virtually any activity in the More menu.
I was trying to add a new Index Smart Scale, but whenever I go to the Add Device, the app crashes.
and if I cannot add the scale, it cannot be used. Maybe I’ll have to return the scale...
  • Same here. App fine until this morning. Now crashes after a few seconds use. Agree daylight saving looks like the culprit.

    Same here. In my case GC crashes since Saturday evening (so it started before time change). iPhone XS, iOS 12.0.1, Garmin Connect 4.12.0.14. It crashes even without connection with my Fenix 5 device.

    Same here, but this workaround helped for me for now:

    Disable Apple Health Sync in iPhone settings

    @Garmin: Please fix
  • I have same issue with v 4.12.014 on iPhoneSE. Probably introduced with last update. My advice is don’t try uninstalling/signing out/in but leave alone instead. Last time a (different) issue happened in a similar fashion, any data on your device was uploaded and usable as normal once the fix was promoted.

    Thank you der_schmidt. This workaround certainly stabilises Connect :-). I noticed that Apple Health had not collated its usual data this morning

    Testing now - would seem to suggest an issue with DST - seeing as different regions have different DST start and end dates, I wonder if it's a server mismatch. Would then be hard to know if it's Apple's fault or Garmin's fault then!

    But yeah, mine definitely seems more stable now!

    Thank you VERY much DerSchmidt

    If it is a sync issue, my guess is tomorrow (a day without technically 25 hours in!) will behave fine, update or no update
