Have you collapsed the view in My Day? You must expand it to see the floors climbed.
Do you see the floors climbed on the watch?
Do you see the floors climbed in the menu in Garmin Connect (Menu > Activities > Floors)?
Hi, no I didn’t it is expanded.
yes I can see it on watch, but it doesn’t record any floors.
And yes again I can see it in Menu>activities >floors.
Any idea please?
I reset my watch today and no change.
What do you see in My Day? Floors is placed right above Heart rate.
The only thing you haven't posted is what you see in the menu > Activities > Floors (You looked and said that they are there but to have all the data for this case it would be interesting to see it)
You can try a reinstall of the app. That should clear out any settings in the app that might have get messed up.
I have exactly the same problem. Had Fenix 5 before, and just got a 7x pro. Fenix 5 recorded and showed the floors fine. Even 7x pro showed the floors climbed on its first day, then they disappeared. It is still showing the floors for fenix 5 and the first day of 7x pro, but then nothing. Not even the watch is recording any floors climbed even though my altimeter is showing i have climbed a few hundred ft. so strange. please let me know if you could solve the problem you had.
Hi, I contacted Garmin and they can’t see anything wrong. I didn’t get back to them but I think I know what is the problem.
Did you by any chance started any climbing challenges, like K2 for example? Because my problem started when I clicked on one of them. Now I can see floors only if I set watch on walking, hiking etc.

Do you have both watches connected to the same Garmin Connect account? Which of them is set as the Primary Wearable? If setting the F7 as the Primary Wearable does not help, the I'd suggest removing the F5 from Garmin Connect, then force-stopping and restarting the app, restarting the watch and trying to climb a few floors again. Do not hold on the railing, when climbing floors! The watch needs to be able sensing your steps as you climb on the stairs, holding on the railing prevents it.
You can also check out the climbed floors in Garmin Connect Web (i.e. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/daily-summary/2023-08-30/floors for today), if the app does not show them for some reason. Though, if the watch does not show any climbed floors despite a significant elevation gain, then the problem is not the app.
Hi Monika, thanks for the reply. Nope, I didn't start any climbing challenge. However, it is working now again. I basically reset everything, and updated all the software both on the watch, in Garmin connect, and iPhone app. I am still somehow missing the floors for one day but it doesn't matter.
Hi, thanks for the reply. I had removed my previous watch so that couldn't be the problem. It is working now again.
