Edge Connection/Connection Lost notifications since last update

Since the latest GCM Android update, whenever I turn my edge ON/OFF I'm getting device connection/connection lost notifications on my phone even though device communication notifications are disabled.

I think they are being generated by the Bike Alarm Notification Category but the Bike Alarm isn't active on my device or in GCM.

Anyone else seeing this?

    Yes deactivating the Find My Phone notification would remove it.... But that would mean you cannot use Find My Phone.

    The notification is a Device Connection notification that is being incorrectly categorised as a Find My Phone Notification in GCM according Garmin Support following my issue report Duh!

    Have you kever learnd to check thing before stating them as facts?

    What you wrote is just wrong. Or a lie. Deactivating the "find my phone" category does not deactivates find my phone feature. You would know it, if you just tested it. Would took you 1 minute. But you chose to complain instead. The whole thread here is wining people complaining about a thing, everybody coould fix with 5 minutes googling and common sense. Less time that it took you to write your complains here

    I can confirm that Find My Phone still works if you turn off Find My Phone in Android settings.  As the other thread says, this is mislabelled.

     

       I'm not quite sure why three people down-marked you for giving the correct answer.
