Update as of September 2023:
Feedback is currently being reviewed regarding the recent changes made to Garmin Connect 4.70 for further consideration.
Thank you,
This is just horrible design change. I have no notifications so promoting the bell icon on prime spot in the app is just absurd.
I share your opinion. This new version is not at all ergonomic.
Garmin Connect updated today to V4.7 and run activities are no longer providing total ascent in the overview tab or in the newsfeed. You have to go through the stats tab of each activity to find it. Why…
It’s not looking like they are but I wish they would! The old version was so much better & I loved the 3 circles!!! PLEASE BRING BACK THE CIRCLES Garmin
So, I'm seeing a lot of replies from over a month ago, and it appears Garmin has not changed anything. Will Garmin listen to their customers and change the phone interface to how it used to be? I'm beginning to doubt it. Who approved this garbage??? Don't they know that racking sleep is just as important as tracking miles and reps? So, Cody, Adrian, Blake, or whoever is reading this at Garmin, it's obvious that we ALL do not like the change. The question is - What are you doing about it?

It is not obvious that we "ALL" do not like the change. It is obvious that the design is subjective and many people in this thread said they like the new change (you can easily filter them by negative score :)) The new UI is obviously very buggy, but in my opinion, the design is OK. The solution for you is: get used to it, garmin could not care less :)
Absolutely, if people here in the forum don't like the new UI doesn't mean that everybody doesn't like it. I prefer the new one and as I work in software development it is often the case that people tend to disagree when something has been changed as they have to adapt to new ways of interacting with a product. That doesn't mean that the changes per se are bad. Also, I guess Garmin has done UX testing and changed their apps according to the results of the test. That doesn't mean that there is no room for improvement.
The sleep tracking is hugely important to me and this alleged update makes it almost worthless, and the restrictions on editing are even worse# it's trash! It was amazing, and very useable, it literally is shot now! And the body battery... same. Good lord man you decimated the functionality and data we had. Please undo this disaster! Have been a Garmin guy for over 20 years and have never seen you guys blow it before, bit this is so bad! It's like you hired the bud light ad campaign lady to make data and interface decisions.
Agreed. I swim mainly and been used to the overview with the three circles , showing my SWOLF as well. Suddenly the overview tab is totally different and worse more it is missing the SWOLF. Why? I've been searching everywhere on how to customize that view but landed on this forum. I'm now understanding that this is something totally out of our control and Garmin is in charge. I wish Garmin would either revert back to the old overview layout or give us a way to customize it. Please Garmin!
Any updates on rolling this back? Or being able to toggle between this version and the rings?
