Training with Garmin coach missing phases

Hi All,

I'm using Fenix 7 SS and I'm in the middle of a 10k plan with Greg. So far everything has been working well, but during my last training with intervals I noticed that my watch does not see all phases of the training.

For example, on my phone in the training plan I can see:

1. Warm up

2. Run 20 sec

3. Jog or walk 40 sec

4. Repeat 2-3 10 times

5. Cool down

At the same time, my watch shows only 3 phases which I thought was just a display bug, but during the actual training my watch just ended it completely after the step 3.

I checked couple of upcoming trainings in my plan and I see there exactly the same problem. It seems to be affecting only those with higher number of phases. Same thing happened to my wife, that is also using Fenix 7.

@edit Just noticed that shorter ones are also impacted. E.g. today I have a run that consists of 4 phases, while my watch sees only two.

Things I already tried but didn't help - restarted my watch / resent training data to the watch / rescheduled training and synced it again / paused and unpaused entire training plan.

Any advice how to tackle this issue?

  • Experiencing same issue. With Jeff on Magic mile, on the app said Lap button to start 1 mile run, when I pressed my watch went to cool down phase. The program description and on watch are not exactly in sync.
