Safety Features Setup Fails with "Invalid Phone Number" Error

Hi there,

As of updating my Forerunner 945 to SW version 12.0 (possibly happened before 12.0, but didn't notice), I can no longer seem to setup safety features on my 945 via the Android Connect app. When starting the app, I am prompted to setup safety features, but when I try to complete the setup, I get to the screen that asks for my Name, City, and State; when I enter this info and click next I get an error message "Invalid Phone Number: The phone number provided is invalid. Please review and correct that number to save updates to your information.". The thing is, I was never asked to enter a phone number. I've reached out to Garmin support, but no resolution after a couple of weeks. 

Anyone else having the same issue?
