I can't join any of the challenges

I've done 45 miles already but it isn't showing or letting me join

e7andy mentioned biking, but it would be the same for running - only runs recorded by a Garmin device count towards badges and challenges. Manually added, or imported activities do not count.

Why do you tell you cannot access them, when you posted their screenshots? You apparently can access them, if you were able to take the screenshots. Or do the screenshots…

There is the issue. You must upgrade to the latest version of the app. 4.28 is from March 2020 and the challenge function wasn't released by that date.

Thank-you very much for your help Andy, I changed my phone in February it appears that this phone doesn't automatically upgrade... daughter to the rescue!

I think you can do it easily yourself. It is not that difficult:

Press and hold the GC Mobile icon on the home screen of your phone, untill a small menu pops up
Release the hold and tap the last option in the menu - App Info (symbol "i")
You may perhaps already see the option Update at the bottom. If so, then use it. If not, continue to #4
Scroll to the very bottom, and tap App details in store
Tap the tripple dot up right, and check the box at Enable auto update
Tap the button Update, for updating the app instantly
