Curve card Garmin pay issues UK

Hi, I am trying to add my Curve card to Garmin pay in the UK but it does not work, the card cannot be connected in the android app. Can someone help me please how to do it? Thank you

Mine says my forerunner could not sync (when app shows it is connected) - is this the same problem
