On July 3rd as part of the July Weekend Walking challenge that was open from July 3rd to July 5th I completed the required 3 mile walk. I was not credited for the points offered upon completion of the challenge.

My Garmin Vivoki is linked to Garmin Connect in my profile.

Vivoki can only record steps, nothing else. It does not record any Activities, and has no GPS. Hence you cannot get any of the badges based on Activities. You need a more advanced Garmin device than the Vivoki for that.
