I have done a 5km walk yesterday but did 
not get the badge for the Wochenend Wanderer
Challenge from 5.-7. June.
What went wrong?

Possible reasons:

You did not join the Weekend Walking Challenge (on the Challenges page)

Your walk was not recorded as the Walk activity, but rather as Hiking instead

In the first case - join the Challenge…

Manually entered activities do not apply for any badges. You have to fix your syncing first, or sync over…

Yes, I did read that information. Thank you. I have joined the activity and my activity registered as a "Walk" so it's eligible. There had not been a badge added to my swag, and I have not been allocated the 1pt.

Never mind, maybe I'll achieve the "Fortnight 150k" badge.

I took up the challenge and walked further, because of the potential badge, so it has achieved it's purpose of motivation.... It's less important to achieve the reward...

I have joined the activity and my activity registered as a "Walk" so it's eligible.

As written in the inital answer, if the Activity is in your account, you have joined the challenge, and the activity's type is Walk, then it is enough to edit the activity, doing a minor change (i.e. adding a Calorie) and saving it. The badge will arive in a minute or two. If it does not happen, share the activity as weblink, and post the link here.

All went well with my badge achievement saved for the points allocation for the level increase. I might be wrong but it looks like the 1 point reward was not allocated.

Try checking it out on the Garmin Connect Web page Badges. If you still feel the point is missing, reload the page. On the phone, try force stopping the app, and then restarting it. Or just wait a few hours, it will eventually refresh.

Thanks for your suggestions. Editing the activity worked! However, the 1pt doesn’t seem to have been allocated. Frankly, I’m happy to have earned the badge! The point isn’t important. It may possibly show up tomorrow
