Try initializing the pairing it from the other direction - from the phone's BT settings screen (unlike what the Garmin manual tells). Or make at least sure the the BT is turned ON, on the phone, and that the phone is made visible over BT.

I had the same with the 830, an old version of connect mobile fixed it.

Have a look in the 830 forum for details

Hey. I seem to be having the same problem. I guess it is the update to the phone that pretty much broke it.

I have the same problem, with Huawei P30 PRO EMUI 9 and my Edge 530 :(
