Is there a way in Garmin Connect to see the live data of the current activity?

Is there a way in Garmin Connect to see the live data of the current activity (i.e. distance, pace, temperature, time, etc.)? I can only see the live HR and steps, but cannot find a way to display any other parameters. In many situations I'd prefer watching the data on the phone than on the watch. Not only I often can't easily read the tiny letters on the watch without glasses, but sometimes I have the watch under layers. Also on a bicycle, it would be much preferable to watch the activity data on a phone mounted on the handlebar.

    I noticed that there is no prg file for the Fenix3. Do you know if it is possible to create the prg file for this model. I looked at motion monkey and saw that the Fenix3 was not listed. I stopped there. BTW awesome job. I know the forum has been quiet but I personally know a lot of people that would find this app very useful.

    Your app looks great.

    I'm confused about the part numbers though. I have a Fenix 6 Saffire (which is basically the Pro) and on the Garmin site the Part Number is 010-02158-11 but in your manifest file the part numbers for the Fenix 6 Pro are along the lines of 006-B3290-00.

    How do these correlate, or how do I find the numbers you are using on my watch or in the Garmin Connect app?

    You can find the correct number using this app.

    Can anyone confirm if they are still using the open source apps mentioned? If so, do they work indoors?

    Good idea!  This could be a great solution for me!! I tried with my fenix 6 pro and the android app (GarminLive) doesn't seems to connect with the garmin watch App (PhoneActivity). Android app tells that Garmin Connect mobile is required even if the app is already installed on my phone.

    I'm very interested in such an app. As a cyclist it would be a lot easier to have the info I want displayed in the screen of my phone attached to the handle bar than on the tiny screen of the watch. I would be willing to pay to have such a service on my iPhone.
    Actually it surprises me that Garmin hasn't developed that themselves.

    I've got the apps installed on my phone and my watch but can't get them to communicate. My watch gives a 'failed to send' message and my phone always asks to install Garmin connect (which is already installed). 

    The activity saves fine in Garmin connect, I just don't get the data in real time on my phone. I know this was posted quite a while ago, but hoping you can still help, thanks!
