How do you set a goal a goal in the Garmin app for android??

I'm trying to set a goal for myself for the month of September. I am unable to find a setting to do so in the app.

  • You will have to ask Garmin about that. It is not likely that you will get a reply from Garmin in this forum.

Best way is probably to suggest it: https://www.garmin.com/forms/ideas/

  • It is beyond redicolous that we are still unable to create personal goals through the app. I don't understand why this is not a high priority issue, the web and app should be identical in feature sets.

Hello, sorry for what may seem like a stupid question. How the heck do I show custom goals in Connect Mobile app on Android? I have set some cycling goals (X km per week, Y km per year) in the web version of Connect and I can track these goals on web Connect, there's even this Goals "widget" or however you wanna call it, which shows the particular goal gauge. I am unable to find the same gauge in the Android Connect app. Is it really not there, or is it just well hidden?

    Thx!
  • Haha obviously not a stupid question bc 6 yrs later, I did this post while searching the same thing.... How do I view in the Android app, a goal I've set?

  • I created my first goal in web version and I just was going to ask about mobile version Smiley It looking this feature is missing in mobile version Open mouth But why? As someone noticed, both versions should have the same functionality, but not. Garmin please do something about that.

  • But why?

    As mentioned by ,

I do not see any reason for that. It makes much more sense to have the mobile apps for Android and for iOS with just the basic functionality, and the universal web version including also advanced or rarely used features. The web version can be used everywhere - on phones, tablets, as well as on computers. No need to clone all of its features on the apps, slowing so down the development of all of them.

  • I do not see any reason for that

Following this lead, it can be said that what is the use of a phone program if there is a web version with all functions.

I don't know what else is missing, if any, but I think goals could be on mobile too Slight smile

  • what is the use of a phone program if there is a web version with all functions

Basically the syncing, and the quick monitoring of the daily data

I don't know what else is missing,

For example Reports, file imports, activities exports, Personal Records managment, full Training Plans lists, etc. etc.
