Perhaps something to the effect of..."We apologize, but all of our developers are currently busy developing software for the 30+ additional cheap fitness trackers we are about to dump on the market"

My Fenix 5X+ is my 4th Garmin device, and at this point it is going to be my last. Very disappointing.
I have the same problem as well, frustrating to have to reinstall everything for just a ride or two before it fails once again. I too thought it was something I was doing wrong, but now I see many have the same issue.
Hey another user just siding with this comment. I am having issues as well...even more erratic with live track not starting until minutes into a run then starting and stopping by itself all throughout a run while indicating that I am running somewhere in Africa instead of Canada. I am glad I came across this post so I know not to bother spending my time troubleshooting as I am a trained IT professional as well.

Garmin, This situations over the years are unacceptable and the reason is people security. Why are you still doing amateurs errors and just focusing on sales? This type of error is so easy to be avoid and tracked that is completely unnecessary and shows the level of professionalism of your teams.
I'm running IOS 4.29.1.1 and LiveTrack is still not working. I recently purchased a 1030 and it worked a few times but now it just says LiveTrack failed. This is really poor - an important safety feature that does not work. Is there any progress? It's been an issue for well over a year. If you can't make it function it shouldn't be listed as a feature.
I'm considering returning the 1030 and switching to Wahoo to be honest, but I don;t want to as I've used Garmin for years.
