Version 4.2.1 sticky notifications

Today's update fixes the notifications and the alerts upon receiving a notification. Thanks for fixing that, Garmin team!
'Sticky' notifications are gone though. I happened to use those a lot. Some of that functionality (sending notes on the watch) can be taken over by the calendar app, but that needs to sync before a calendar item is sent to the watch, which requires internet, and that is not always available. Perhaps sticky notifications can be re-enabled? That would be great!
  • K-9 email notifications do not work. Rolling back again.
  • When I swipe up the app or delete all running app by the cross, watch losts bluetooth connection.
Before, bluetooth pairing was maintained whether the app was launched or not ...

Rolled back to 4.1.11, and notifications work....
  • These last days I tried 4.1.9 and the issue I explained above was there BUT differently.
Now I cut the bluetooth but is comes back alone few minutes after. Wuth 4.1.9, I came back only launching Garmin Connect ...
  • Still not stable. Gmail notices work. Verizon Messages+ does not. Outlook does not.
I've uninstalled GCM 4.2.1, rebooted, reinstalled. (On Droid 8.0 Oreo, so no cahce clearing)
Removed all instances of my F3 in Bluetooth on the phone, rebooted.
    Rebooted F3.
Reconnected F3 via app and no notices from Messages+
Repeated ALL the steps above and let phone reconnect F3 first, then through app.
Rebooted F3 and still no notices for Message+
Through every iteration of testing, I was able to sync the F3 from either the GCM app or from the F3 itself. Those sync attempts all worked fine.

I'd say there are still issues.

Thanks, JohnFenix for giving it a shot and posting your experience. If Outlook is still broken, I'm out. That's a total deal breaker for me. I'm sticking with the fully functional roll back until they get it together.

Edit: I see they're up to 4.2.2 - anyone given it a try? Looks like some positive reviews in Play store.
  • No Outlook notifications is a deal breaker for me too, and Message+. Both are not working still with 4.2.1.
  • 4.2.2 is not better
Notifications problems, HR in the app is broken, battery drain

Using 4.2.2 and Messages+ is working again! Going to check Outlook next. HR is working with my Ant+ Garmin HR strap.
