Calendar doesn't show green blocks on days that I've run anymore

In the latest update to the connect mobile app (version 3.5.0.1) the calendar doesn't show a green block on days that I've done a run. The data are still there - if I select a day, I see a message that says either "No timeline data for this day" or "Sync your device to see today's timeline", but I also see the summary of the run for that day.

Is there some setting that can be changed so that the calendar month-view display behaves the way it used to? Also, what is "timeline data"?

Look in FILTER in the top right corner of the Calendar screen in the Garmin Connect Mobile app.

    Also, what is "timeline data"?
24×7 heart rate and movement data, overlaid with tracked activities and detected sleep periods.

The filter shows checks next to Events, Workouts, Training Plans, and Badges.

Regarding the timeline data, do I need to specify that my running activities should be included with the tracked activities?

    Thanks!

This is the Filter options page (screenshot) I get in Garmin Connect Mobile app for Android 3.5.0.1. My recorded activities are showing on the Calendar, as you can see.

Not to the best of my knowledge.

This is what my filter options window looks like: calendar filter options it's missing the ability to add activities to the filter.

    And then my calendar: calendar

    What dashboard item is this?

It's the Daily Summary page in Garmin Connect online. You can get there by clicking on the widget name of any of the following widgets: Heart Rate, Sleep, Steps, Calories In/Out, so selecting ‘Go to Full Page’ from the drop-down menu you get by clicking on the cogwheel in the top right corner of those widgets. The Heart Rate widget is the one that takes you directly to the Timeline tab on the Daily summary page.

Of those widgets, the only one I see is the "calories is/out" but when I add it I'm asked to enter login information for MyFitnessPal. Do I need a MyFitnessPal account for any of this to work?

Only for the Calories In/Out widget to show any data. I don't have a MyFitnessPal account myself, but clicking on the widget name still brings up the Daily Summary page for me.

You mean clicking on the widget name in the side menu? When I try that nothing happens...

I also don't have data the option to add widgets for for sleep, heart rate, or steps - here is a screenshot of what is available on my side menu If select the Calories In/Out item on that menu, nothing happens.

I am not using my device (FR220) to track sleep, heart rate, or steps, could that be the issue?
