I’ve got a gpsmap 8617 mfd running the latest software. I’ve just bought a new iPhone 14, downloaded the latest active Captain app and connected to the Garmin wifi network on the Gpsmap MFD. Now when I open the app, the app announces a message stating “There is no ActiveCaptain memory card detected” under the sync with plotter icon on the home screen in the app. On my gpsmap 8617 under active captain menu it states there is an active captain card installed. When I go back to my old iPhone X and go into the ActiveCaptain app and connect it to the MFD it recognises there’s an active Captain memory card and I can use the app as per normal.
I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling, hard resetting the phone, formatting the Sd card and starting again, trying a different sd card, tried logging out and logging back in, tried resetting the app from options. All with no luck. App allows me to sync as per normal on my original phone but not on the new phone?
Anyone have any idea what’s going on?
