VAM for cyclists requested

Hello, got my Garmin Virb today and played a bit with the new version 2.8.

Very nice, working good so far. Since I am a cyclist and have a Garmin Edge 510, one of my most favourite display options is VAM, to show my current ascension speed, which is very useful for me.
I there a chance that the VAM finds its way into one of the gauges of the overlay?
VAM is great to show off climbing speed.
Pro riders the first thing they look at is their wattage and the second thing is their VAM
Ideal would be an 3 or 10 sec average.

And it is a simple math:
e.g. VAM=meters climbed (in 3 seconds) * 3600/ 3sec or
VAM=meters climbed (in 10 seconds) * 3600/ 10sec

Greetings

    That sounds like something we could add. I wrote a case, hopefully this will make it into one of the next feature releases.

    Thanks for your feedback!

    I also like this idea! Would greatly enhance the dynamic aspect of the overlay, when you are climbing on the bike.
    Nice when you filmed your Strava KOM bid, before you put it to youtube to earn some praise.
    Not everyone has a wattmeter on the bike, VAM is a good replacement and sometimes even more important.
