g-metrix missing. even on long video shots. tried to fixed with another gps track. But no time/date stamp check...

Hello, I use my garmin 595 as remote for my virb xe camera.

For one or other mysterious reason, a complete succesion of shots (no apparent logical reason) the g-metrix data is missing.

Trying to solve this, I thaught...ok no matter. My garmin gps also makes a track.

I suppose that even without gps fix, the virb is registering time/date when shooting.

So I have a lot let's say 15+ video clips without g-metrix data (I just want to now where the shot was taken, eventually speed)

and 3 or 4 gps tracks covering them all.

Tried to import my tracks from the zumo gps.

Is it possible that Virb edit is not smart enough to check time date stamps of the video's and compare it with the gps tracks?

Because, in the edit software you cannot find out the time and date of the video clip, and so can only guess which is the corresponding track.

And after import you notice that imported g-metrix data does not correspond to the real positionning in the shot.

the basic time stamp checks seames to be missing! How can I fix this?

best regards,

Olivier
