Garmin express not working with 910xt - MacOs version

Hi,
I uninstalled Ant agent and plugin communicator, as here: https://support.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/case.faces?caseId=%7B2e141a50-04d8-11de-ffba-000000000000%7D
Garmin express found the Ant usb stick, but could not find my 910xt...
Any directions before I return to the good old method?

    When i installed Express it already knew of my 910, and it had issues. Once i told it to delete the device and repaired it everything worked as expected.
  • Just like ANT Agent, you need to pair with Garmin Express first, so make sure you have pairing turned on, on your 910XT.

    Do note that currently GE is not storing offloaded data locally like ANT Agent. If it is important to you to have local copies of your data then you might want to hold off moving to GE until such time as local storage is returned.

    I have the same problem as the starter of topic. Now I tried to switch on the pairing on my 910XT but the Garmin Express didn't find the device. I have tried that with Ant Agent & Communicator uninstalled and with installed and it doesn't matter. Uninstalling and reinstalling the ANT Agent and others just broke the whole system for a while that I can't sync at all. What a piece of sh*t this kind of software problems.

    ohoh! I didn't noticed that; very unsafe and bad move of Garmin...
    So, I'm off GE; I use FirstBeat and need the local files, unless I sync with another computer - FirstBeat has only Windows version...

    Same issue for me, Garmin Express seems unable to see the 910XT no matter what I do. I'm just continuing to use ANT Agent for now.

    unfortunately i can be counted in as well. Mac OS and the GE software keeps on telling me that i need to update the 910xt (which isn't necessary because the latest firmware is installed). It does recognise the device, but i cannot work with it.
    Crappy software. Back to ant agent.
  • GE been updated to v3.0.6.0 ... hopefully that may solve some of the issues you're having.

    can you tell me where to get the latest version, because i've read somewhere that the US and Eur site sometimes offer different versions of the software.

    Interesting. Just clicked check for updates and got the response "no updates available". I have version 2.0.1.11!!

    GE is junk.
