New purchased map not showing in Garmin Express

I bought a Nuvi 2699 in Europe, with life time maps and life time digital traffic. So far all is good. Mid June I bought the North American maps, life time. I guess downloaded (and installed?) these on an extra SD card using the browser account managment interface (nothing was said about having to use Garming Express). The maps worked fine.

BUT
a) the North American maps do not show up in the list of installed maps when using Garming Express and,
b) I can not load the map on to my PC for use with BaseCamp when my device is not attached. Only the European maps are on my PC so far.

Can someone explain how I can manage and use my NA maps the same way I manage my European maps?

I also mailed [email][email protected][/email] on Sunday (2 Aug). No reply yet.
But I will say that the Customer Service response time on this forum is very good!

Hi Customer support! Its been 4 and a half days since I sent my request for help to '[email protected]' with no reply. Any suggestion on other contacts I might use? I hesitate to use the phone because I like to save helpful replys, etc. for later use.

I have checked the customer profile for the email address that is tied to your display name and the last email I show as being received from you is from 7/1/2015. Did you send the email from a different address?

As for other contact information, you can try emailing to [email][email protected][/email] or [email][email protected][/email]. You may also find other contact information from this support page:

Ah! OK. One of the moderators gave me [email][email protected][/email], but its actually [email][email protected][/email], right?
And I indeed see now that some of my emails are going out with the wrong return email address.

So, I emailed again, and hope all works. I probably will call too... only Garmin NL is only open during working hours, and its difficult for me to stop and deal with private stuff then...

I gave you [email][email protected][/email] and I assure you it works. Whether [email][email protected][/email] also works I have no idea.
