Time zone map V 14.00

New GC keeps telling me theres an update for my FR 610. Time Zone Map, Version 14.00.
I've updated the FR like 5 times now, also erased it from GC. But when I open GC, it pops up again.
Is it just me that have this problem???
  • +1 on the FR610 Time Zone Map 14 alert. It just keeps returning and I have gone through the update process a number of times. At this point, I'm ignoring it.

    Yes, I am having the same problem! I have installed this update (Time Zone Map 14.00) several times and Garmin Express still gives me a notification that I need to update. I am also getting error messages when trying to sync with Garmin Express with my 610. I have been on the phone with Garmin Support but no resolution yet. I am glad I am not the only one with this problem; this is frustrating!


    Exactly the same problem and symptoms. All since Garmin express came to market. Let hope there is a solution sooooon. IMG
  • I'm still having this issue. It's been around since I downloaded GE - quite a long time.

    I did the reassociating thing but it worked just a while.
  • Same isssue here with Forerunner 610; it's quite annoying.. together with all the upload issues I still try to update it, hoping this will solve all issues. Sadly it isn't solving anything...
  • Not sure how often it has to be said but the simple thing is to just ignore it. There can be many reasons why some devices/systems report that an update isn't installed when in fact it is. Occasionally but not often it's a fault at the Garmin end. Either way in the fabric of life it's hardly a major issue ... :)
  • It would be easy to ignore it... but the last time i tried to update the timezone map to version 14 it shots my Edge 510 into nirvana... only deleting most of the setting- log and activityfiles manually brought it back to live!

    Good practice is to delete then reassociate your devices every time Express or your device is updated.

    As this thread is simply turning into a moan about this issue I'm going to close the thread. The fact is the Express team are aware of it, so at some time it should be resolved. In the meantime it can be ignored.
