Can you try uninstalling and reinstall Garmin Express. Make sure your watch is disconnected/unplugged from the computer during this time.
I have two Garmin Fenix 8, 51mm watches, one is a Solar and the other is an Emoled.
I have a surface pro running windows 11.
I can connect both watches to Garmin Express however, with the Solar, when connected, only the "Tools and Contents" and the "Garmin Connect" panes appear and the Music pane does not appear.
On the Solar watch, under Settings/Music it tells me to connect to a Express via usb to download music, how connecting to Express, the music pane does not.
When I unplug the Solar and plug in the Emoled, the music panel appears and I can transfer the music playlists and music files to the Emoled. When I plug the Solar back in, the music pane disappears.
The Version of Express is Ver 7.29.0 + 46140687
The Version of the Solar software is "up to date" at 22.35
