I recently purchased a new phone. When I went to connect my s42 Approach, it wouldn't connect. I reset the s42 to factory settings hoping to clear the previous phone. Still doesn't connect
Which phone do you have?
If the old phone or any other mobile device is nearby, be sure to uninstall Garmin Connect and any other Garmin apps from those devices, and remove the Garmin S42 from the Bluetooth settings.
