This means that the map update data was downloaded to the computer and Garmin Express was able to activate or unlock the maps but it appears there was an issue sending the data to the device or SD card. I suggest you make sure Express is up to date, then remove the nuvi from Express and remove the SD card from the device. Add the device to Express and use the option to change map region in the article below. You should be prompted to insert and SD card or select a smaller map region. Select the SD card then insert it in the device and let Express continue. If you continue to have troubles send us the Express Logs.
