BaseCamp 4.5.2 Is Now Available

BaseCamp is 4.5.2 now available and can be downloaded here:

Installation of this version will overwrite your previous BaseCamp installation.

Fixed some issues sending data to devices
Fixed issue with cancelling a route calculation while editing data on the device
Fixed issue with FIT activities not being read from the etrex Touch
Fixed route vias showing up in the locations list of the fenix 3 and epix
Fixed various issues when disconnecting the device while editing data on the device

The non-English language version of the software will be available through the in-application software update check shortly.

tracks saved as fit files or an Oregon 650 are now visible again under internal storage, however there is the misleading option to delete this tracks. after deleting them, and ejecting the unit, the tracks keep appearing under activities on the gps, and are shown again on Basecamp when connecting the unit back. If the fit files will not be allowed to be deleted from Basecamp, I would expect the unit to work like the Epix, when mounted, allows to delete waypoints , but the tracks do not show the delete operation.

Not going well

I have been using 4.5.1 ok on Windows 10
I used the link from the open program to update.
The program then downloaded, went to the Windows security window where one authorizes changes to the hard disk.
Clicked ok to proceed then got a message saying "file corrupt, cannot extract file."
Update there for stuck. Tried several times cannot clear the issue
Any ideas please?

Try downloading from the link posted above rather than from Basecamp.

Update to 4.2.5.1

Installed 4.5.2 on my two machines (desktop used for route planning and my laptop that goes on the road)..

On the laptop while opening Basecamp 4.5.2 (a couple of days later), it popped up a window inside the app, showing a 4.5.2.1 update, which installed and restarted the app.

This never happened on my desktop... wonder if this could be a selective fix based on the video subsystem in use by the computer or some other hardware related issue. Both machines are Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Have seen no information on the 4.5.2.1.. anyone else observed this?

In either V/L have observed no problems.....

The version of BC on my Win7 SP1 x64 box is 4.5.2.1. I guess there was a 4.5.2.0 at some time but I never got it.

I always downdload from garmn.com instead of the internal updater.

Where is everyone seeing the 4.5.2.1 version number? Screen shot please if possible?

Right click on the BaseCamp.exe (installed) file and select Properties. Details. The "Product Version" is shown as 4.5.2.1.

In About, in BC, you only see 4.5.2.

This is correct. There was no 4.5.2.0. Our last number is the release candidate for the given first three version numbers.

I cannot upload to garmin connect .gpx or .tcx files of tracks created on basecamp. Any ideas?
