I was able to download a map from basecamp into my NUVI 500 into the memory card - BUT i am not able to access that info as a route on my device any help or is this the wrong forum? thanks in advance
Well I had to throw in the towel and call Garmin - they instructed me on how to get them maps into my Nuvi to get read - I had to drag the map info from MY COLLECTION in base camp directly into the nuvi as it was plugged into my lap top - it worked good - Thanks for your help
Note though that's not maps you're moving but routes, waypoints etc. BaseCamp is simply doing what you've already been told and putting the data in the correct folder on your device.
Since you seem to be struggling with the basics also note that under the Help button on BaseCamp's toolbar is a link to help files and videos that cover the basics.
