Birdseye Problem

I have had a Birdseye subscription for over two years and used it quite a bit so am familiar with how it normally works.
For the last three days when I try to use it everything appears normal during the download stage (except squares don't fill in)
When the download is completed a box appears advising the download could not complete and a try again option is offered.
I have tried different map location and sizes but nothing will download.
I have made no changes to my iMac since the software last worked correctly
Can anybody help me?

    What is the best thing to do when a download stalls for a long time? All I can see is a Pause button and no option to retry or to tell it to go onto the next area in the queue:


    Is there a limit to the queue length? Does the download resume if the computer goes to sleep (my one has that setting as "Never") or if there is an interruption to power or internet connection?

    I've pressed the Pause button but nothing changes - the animated green progress stripe keeps running. If I restart the computer will all the areas in the queue be lost?
