So I purchased a map from garmin.com and I downloaded it through the webbrowser to the device. I thought this was a little strange. Why wouldn't it allow me to download to the computer first and then install the map to the device? Anyway.
The new map is on my device and I can see all the new stuff on the unit. Now I'd like to see all the new stuff in Basecamp. From the website It sounds like I am to obtain an unlock code by going to myMaps and the Installed Maps section should have it there. But here is the catch, there are no maps listed under Installed Maps. I do not understand, my device is updated. I tried downloading the map again, but same results.
Am I going in the right direction or am I doing something wrong? Thanks
