Download Failed

I've been using Basecamp and Birdseye to load ariel maps on my Oregon 550T. Everything was downloading fine one day, then suddenly I keep getting download failed. It's still loading something, but it's in the failed column. What's going on? Plus the Basecamp is really slow. I have a 16 GB micro SD in the Oregon. Any help?

Basecamp is so slow and unresponsive it's barely worth using right now. What am I doing wrong? I paid for a top of the line Oregon and paid for Birdseye, and I am feeling ripped off right about now.

    Download Failed

I have an Oregon 550 and have been trying to download BirdsEye and every single time I receive nothing but downloaded images failed. I am feeling like I was ripped off as well.

I also have a Oregon 550T and keep getting a BirdsEye imagery download failure. Seems like everything is setup OK, but it fails every time. I've tried standard, High, and Higest for multiple areas use large and small selection boxes. Nothing has worked. Any ideas?

Same thing happening here. Bought BirdsEye yesterday and have been unable to use it due to the "download failed" result for every single image of every map section I try to download. Really disappointed since I specifically bought BirdsEye for yesterday's activities while on vacation.

Does Garmin read these forums, and if so, can they give us ANY information on this issue? Even a single day of downtime can have a very real impact on users (as in my case yesterday.) This type of online service needs to work when customers need it -- that's what we're paying for. One of these "important days" -- a day for which I specifically purchased this product -- just went by without this product working.

    Thanks,

    Larry

I just tried it again. Same thing, download failed.

Apparently I'm not alone on this. A response from Garmin would be nice. Garmin?

Just got my 62s and was downloading all Thursday and Friday, then Friday night my downloads failed and have ever since.

Garmin you need to let us know what the status of the server is. I am about to return both the 62s and will do a charge back on my credit card if this is the service I am supposed to expect.

Must be nice... you guys are at least getting a failed message. Mine (OS X) pretends everything is just fine - except for the 16k JNX files that it pukes all over my Oregon.

    GARMIN - wakey wakey....

How can a company that produces such excellent navigation hardware, produce such consistently flawed software?

    Come on guys...

I'm a garmin DEALER and I have a hard time selling your product for reasons like this...
