I just downloaded 4.8.2 this AM from MacUpdate and it installed fine and is now working. I was happy about this since Mojave 10.14.4 Beta 3 seemed to have temporarily broken the previous version for me :)

The update was pulled after we had a few reports of some users having some issues while installing the update on some versions of OS. Not everyone will see the error since it only affects some OS versions. We at are currently working on a fix and will release the 64-bit version once we have the fix in place.
Question and Answers:
Can I install BaseCamp Now? Yes, we backdated to a known functioning version until we resolve this issue.
Do I need to backdate? No, the issue only affected a few users when they tried to install the update. If the 4.8.2 version installed with no issues, then you are fine and enjoy the program.
What if I find another issue with 4.8.2? Honestly, I hope you don't but if you do, we want to know. Contact Garmin Support or start a new thread here, and we will pass the information to needs to know so that we can address it.
