Thank you batman I was confused as box states swim / water rating but CouldNot  verify within manuals. Luckily I didn’t risk it Grimacing

  • The box is right, you can swim with it. I have even done snorkeling down to 25-30ft without any issue. The Vivomove HR is rated 5ATM, the pressure down to a depth of 50 meters (or about 150 feet). However, what the Vivomove HR does NOT do is to track swimming as an activity.

Something to keep in mind is that 5ATM does not refer necessarily to static pressure. If you jump into the water from a significant height or do high speed water sports (like water skiing and the likes), the water may slam at high pressure against the watch.

In any case, in two and half year I had the Vivomove HR before I upgraded to the Style, I never had any issues. I had the Vivomove HR Sport (black case and strap) and it held surprisingly well considering the punishment I inflict to my watches. No glass scratches, just some wear on the anodized bezel and strap. Not bad considering I take off my watch only when I shower. Other than that, be hiking, swimming, snorkeling, playing on the beach, working out at the gym I have done it all and did not break it :-)
