Bug Report: Timer and Stopwatch

The V3M is a great training watch, but its built-in Timer and Stopwatch are surprisingly weak.

We should be able to set multiple timers, and the stopwatch should not return to the homescreen after a minute. It would also be nice to view more than the last 1 lap time.

With these improvements, the V3M can be used for tasks like cooking!

I agree, two of us have this watch and we tried to use the GPS tracking (activity tracking) and run timers for food/water reminders during a race. The timers did not work well. When we reset them after the first timer went off, they never went off again. We also couldn't get back into the timer screen again with the activity tracker going....

    Hello,
    I totally agree with you.
It's a pity to see that such a basic function is not very functional.

    From my experience:
    - The stopwatch reverses one step back in the menu after 5 minutes.
    - To avoid this phenomenon, you must lock your screen.
    - When the screen is locked, if you try to use the screen, a padlock logo appears. No problem with that except that the screen is not refreshed and that I can't follow the evolution of time as long as the padlock is present...

For all these reasons, I cannot use my stopwatch when I am in the pool. Sad for a sports watch ;-)

I tested the timer again the other day on a walk. The timer worked, but it's not practical at all. As you mentioned the timer reverts back to its home area "clocks". The good news is that the timer resets itself automatically when it ends. The bad news, when running a GPS tracked activity, you have to scroll through 4-5 screens to get back to the timer so see the countdown.  That seems easy, but when you're running a race, and trying to keep moving, it's not.  When the timer is working, it should stay on the main screen...I wonder if they can improve this?

One would think they can't possibly make it even worse , but keep in mind  this is a Garmin device.
