Volume control just has red line through it when playing music on the watch with Huawei free buds connected volume is at full but won't turn down. When controlling music from phone is fine volume works normally. Anyone had this I've tried reset but still the same

It probably means your headphones are not fully compatible with the watch. I had the same problem with my old headphones.

I have a similar issue, I have just bought new JBL headphones, the volume control works perfectly with my phone but with the watch I can only increase the volume, I can't reduce it...

I have the same with my JBL Reflect FLOWs. Not able to adjust volume on the phone and its at the highest volume. Highly annoying. I thought Garmin was supposed to be a quality brand...

Same problem, Vivoactive 3 Music watch with JBL Reflect Mini 2 earbuds.  Volume up button on earbuds works fine, volume down doesn't, must control with watch face which is annoying when running.  Problem just started this week (is there a way to find out if software automatically updated recently?) and by looking at these forums, it looks like other Garmin watch models have had similar issues.

I've also have the same problem. Is there anyway we can make this concern a future update? I own JBL Sprint 2 headphones.

I also have the same problem. Is there anyway we can get this concern to be fixed? I own a pair of JBL Endurance Sprint headphones.

As others have noted, my JBL Reflect Mini 2's can only turn the volume up but not down on my Vivoactive 3 Music.  To turn the volume back down I have to use the watch interface and tap through multiple screens.  Hoping there will be a software fix.

The problem is with your gadgets' models. As it was already mentioned before, your headphones are not compatible with the watch, and that's why you experience troubles while music plays. Just change your headphones and be aware next time!
