+! for me too. Seems like an issue with the latest software update. All of my Connect IQ downloaded watch faces show as "IQ!" in the watch face selection menu and won't work. If I deinstall…
Thanks! Rebooting worked for me as well but still hope that Garmin people will pick this topic up --> having to reboot your watch every now and then is not really normal...
Just power of and switch back on again
It works
Thanks for this but there was no ciq_log.yml file only a ciq_log.Bak file. Either way I am not going to search for the authors and work out how to contact them. I didn't sign up as their beta tester.
Either Garmin should have a more robust authorization/approval process before allowing the app on Connect IQ or the app authors should be doing better in their regression testing. The watch faces that don't work may well be binned in the future.
This isn't Garmin's responsibility.
Garmin is a complex environment with multiple devices, not a single developer has all the devices to test it on all hardware.

I think this is the wrong attitude.
How hard is it to use the contact developer button and send in the ciq_log.bak or ciq_log.yml content?
If you report the issue you'll have a chance the app author will implement a fix for it.
But it's a free world. If you're not willing to send a bug report to the app author, I'd suggest you uninstall the watch face and install another watch face (or use a native stock watch face).

Garmin doesn't have the source code for apps in the store (other than those developed by Garmin). "Contact Developer" is just a click/tap on a link in the app description, so easy.
When you post a review for an app, the developer get's an email about that. But please don't use a review to just ask a question - use "Contact Developer" for stuff like that. But if an app is constantly getting bad reviews, people will stop downloading it.
Over the years I've met many of the folks in the Garmin CIQ group, and trust me, it's not that many people, and they don't have the people to do a robust test of the thousands of apps in the store.
