Pool Swim problem and request remain after 5.0 software update!

I do not have that much confidence Garmin is listening but ...

1. I received an email from Garmin saying the issue of watch scrolling through the menu during a pool swim has been resolved. IT HAS NOT!
I did a pool swim, with an alert set for every 10 lengths. The alert vibrates in the middle of the 10th length (this works perfectly), BUT when it does this unlocks the screen and water splashing on watch makes a false vertical/horizontal swipe and watch goes into menu screen.

2. Simple request -- Give VA3 owners ability to turn on OHR during pool swims.
  • Same problem here with the touch screen, set up an alert for a certain time to help pacing and as soon as the alerts buzzes the watch screen becomes unlocked and starts scrolling through the menus, it only stops when I swipe back the the activity screen. I've had to turn the alerts off as trying to navigate back to the activity with a wet finger before being able to stop an interval is tricky and it's only a matter of time before it completely messes up an entire workout.
  • UPDATE: the 5.20 FW update seems to have fixed the the Issue # 1 in the first post of this thread.
I did a test yesterday and did not have any problem.

    Thanks Garmin!
