All kinds of activities are wrongly saved with a prefix name which is a location name. As I remembered that had entered that location name during setting up of VA3 via Garmin Express and Garmin Connect. I don't know how to remove the prefix location name which is so annoying. Please help.
I'm not sure what you're describing is the same but recently with GPS activities my runs have changed from having a prefix that is the name of my town to one that is the name of my county. I'm assuming that this might be a part of a reaction to the Strava Heatmap controversy from a few weeks ago where knuckleheads were uploading GPS data from their military bases.
But I guess the OP does not want any location name to be added?
In that case, login to Garmin Connect website, click on the runner icon at the top right corner, select Account Settings and the Display Preferences. On that page there is a drop-down where you choose between 3 different naming schemes for activities. Unfortunately, the only option without a location name is "Untitled".
