Venu vs smart bed

Last night, my smart bed correctly reported it took me 2.5 hours to get to sleep after going to bed while my garmin registered me as being asleep 2 hours before going to bed because I was sitting still and reading. I slept about 4 hrs last night but had a body battery reading of 95 and I still have a 95 after editing sleep time to only 4 hours. Is it possible to manually enter that I’m going to bed at the time? Like manually entering that I’m starting exercise? The bed is consistently WAY more accurate over a year of use, and I just don’t understand why garmin is so much worse. The technology obviously exists to get it right. We really need an update on this feature - since we paid for it. Rolling eyes.
