So, I havent used my watch since early May as I had an accident and a broken bone in my hand. But I recall that, a few day before the accident, I had to manually turn off All-Day Pulse OX because it was ON. I thought it might have been because I bought a new phone a month or so ago and I forgot to configure it to "During Sleep". I was surprised after the phone change that my Venu's battery lasted only 2-3 days instead of 5-6, and then I saw the red led during the day.
Since a week I can wear my watch again. And after the first day I realized I lost 35% battery. I looked at the red led immediately and it was on. The setting for "All-Day Pulse Ox" was ON again. I switched it to OFF for both all day and during sleep.
Yesterday it happened again. I just recorded an exercise, so I thought it may have been that. But then later on yesterday (July 29 2022) I did a walk and recorded. It stayed off. Then I recorded another exercise today with the Works+ app from developer f3b. Nothing. Still all good.
Then at some point it happened again ... out of the blue. It was after a short exercise recording I did just for the test ... but not immediately. I checked immediately afterwards and after about 10 minutes and still I could see only the green leds. Then, after about another 30 minutes I accidentally observed the red led again. I don't recall having any notifications in the meanwhile and I didn't use touch the watch. It was just idly sitting on my wrist.
What I tried so far:
- Restarting the watch several times.
- Restarting the phone.
- Connecting the watch to my computer and using Garmin Express to sync everything and check for any updates (all apps and OS are up to date)
Any ideas what else could I try?
Do not disturb is set to "During sleep" between 22:15-06:15.
