Red light

I’ve had my Venu watch just over 24 hours and the sensor light is constantly flashing red!!
why????

It only started 6 hours ago. It did do a software upgrade this morning.
What can be done? From what I have read it’s a software fault. This watch isn’t cheap and I expect all functions to work.

I chose Garmin because of all the functions it offers combined with the beautiful style. There has to be a solution to this problem!

I have turned off PulseOx and it has stopped but that is not a solution!!!!!!

The red leds are the PulseOx sensor. That's why turning off PulseOx stops them. The green leds are the OHRM.

Yes, I understand that, so is the red light normal? Should I turn it back on?

If you want to measure Spo2 you will need to turn it on(measurments are done with red light because that's how it works en.wikipedia.org/.../Pulse_oximetry ).

Keeping it on all the time is not really common...you should keep it on during sleep and use it for spot check, through the widget, during the day.

Keep in mind that values are highly influenced by the movements and watch position and could be way off during the night.

I would also suggest to read the manual of the watch to have a better comprension of it's functionalities.
