Always On doesn't work on new Venu

I have followed the instructions including power cycling.  Still doesn't become Always On. Instead it just seems to put it in stay on long mode. Any ideas?

  • Which Watchface?  For CIQ watchfaces, they need special code to do "Always on", or are you taking during an activity?  ("run" for example).

One of the standard Garmin watch faces, but not the default. Tech support told me to reload the Venu software from desktop express sw. They said not all the updates get through with BT. That is lame!!

At exactly 8:00pm tonight Venu sent me a You Are Stressed notification and Always On and wrist turn sensitivity both began working correctly. If you are having this problem I suggest shouting angrily at your Venu until it sends you a stress message. This makes the Venu feel guilty and starts it working correctly. Problem solved rather spookily.

I turned on DND when I went to sleep and when I turned it off upon waking Always On was no longer working. Truly bad software that will drive me back to using a traditional watch.

After turning off DND when I awoke it took Venu over 3 hours to reactivate Always On. This is unacceptable!!
