As of late 2020, there is. At least I found mine by accident
Choose your activity and once done simply hit "Stop". DO NOT save. 2 minutes later your HRR is displayed. Then save or discard activity…

Another 'yes please' here.

We will appreciate . Yes please
Yes, it would be great, specially since the Venu is basically a VivoActive 4 with an AMOLED display and both my VivoActive HR and VivoActive 3 had this feature. I don't understand why Garmin remove features like these as they make new version of their watches :-<
Interesting, I went for a 4.8 km walk outside and after I came in and stopped the activity, I got greeted with a HRR value?!? So, they have it for walking but NOT for running and cycling??? What gives? That's WHEN YOU NEED THE MOST!!!
UPDATE: Went for my first run with the Venu and lo and behold. after my run, it DID display the HRR (or RHR, depending how you like to say it). Just like the previous iterations of the watch, HRR is displayed two minutes after you end your activity but for this to happen, you MUST leave the watch at the Save or Discard menu! After being at that menu for two minutes, it WILL display HRR but unlike the VA3, it will disappear for a few seconds only so better read it while it's there! Notice too that HRR is NOT saved within the activity so once it's gone, it's gone.
I have not verified it on the Venu, but on my VA HR and the Edge 500 that info is in the FIT file. I have not idea why they don't show it on Connect or the summaries. My guess is that because most people just save the results and don't wait the 2 minutes.
