Hi All
I've had my Venu for about a week now. I love the watch but Damn if there aren't some glaring flaws.
The worst for me by far is the hit and miss wrist gesture for turn on. The other watches in the market place ie apple, samsung have this kind of thing working well.
Venu on the other hand is hot mess when it comes to all the kinds of refinements expected from a smartwatch rather than a sportwatch.
Venu looks more and more like a Vivoactive with an OLED slapped on it. And yes I know that is how it is advertised but at the moment it doesn't work.
The turn on time for all the custom watch faces is also shockingly poor.
So perhaps some of you that frequent this forum can tell me what has been Garmin's response to all of this. Head in the sand?
Are we going to have to wait for Venu2 before they fix this stuff.
I'm happy with everything else with the watch but the wrist gesture being hit and miss on and OLED watch is a deal breaker. If they can't get that right I'm not getting a Garmin again.
