My Venu display won't stay on

I've set it to always on, I'm using a default click face, and I have do not disturb, turned off and it isn't in my sleep time. The display goes completely dark after a few seconds and I can't get it to stay on.

I also did a complete factory reset still not staying on

I already found this video, no it doesn't work, the software is shocking bad for this watch, I also can't link to 'my fitness pal'  and also can't get music stored on the watch.

  • the software is shocking bad for this watch,

I cannot really comment on it, since I do not own Garmin Venu, but I recommend posting your problem on the Venu forum. Other Venu users on that forum will be able to advise you better, concerning your device. On this forum ("Garmin Connect Mobile Android"), where you posted, we discuss problems concerning the phone app, which has no relation to the problems you described, and we are mostly not familiar with your device. On the Venu forum you will be certainly also better helped with the music on your watch.

I also can't link to 'my fitness pal'

In contrary, this problem is not related to the watch software at all. The MFP account is linked directly to the Garmin Connect account, and the watch plays no role in it. Unlike at the issue with the screen, at MFP, I know that it is working all right. For syncing the accounts in case the syncing is stucked, just go to the page Calories In/Out  and click the link "Sync now" at the top left corner. If it does not help, click the link "Disconnect from MyFitnessPal" under the graph, and then reconnect it again. If there is no "Disconnect from MyFitnessPal", then it means you did not connect them yet, and in the case do it there now.

I tried what you suggested in the video. It did not keep the display  on. I just made it stay on longer.

  • I recommend posting your problem on the Venu forum.
