VA3 NFC broken (again)

A web search reveals many complaints of this nature.  My VA3, on which I have successfully used Garmin Pay many times, now refuses to make an NFC connection.  Rebooting the watch does not seem to help.  I would post the firmware ersion here, but I can't find it.

  • I believe you're not posting this in the right forum (this is not the VivoActive forum), but will address software versions for the Venu. I presume the VivoActive has a similar menu structure.

    To find software versions:

    1. Long press on Venue bottom button.
    2. Scroll to bottom of that screen and tap the gear icon
    3. Scroll to the bottom of that screen and tap "System"
    4. Scroll to the bottom of that screen and tap "About"
    5. Locate "SW Versions" on that screen and tap it.

    You will locate the various software (firmware) versions there. I'm not sure which of those (if any) are specific to the NFC operation.
