Turn off display when Always on

How to turn off manually in a movie théâtre for instance when Always on is activated.

Like do not disturb during sleeping but on demand.

    I think the easiest way to manually control DND is via the controls menu.

    Long press the upper button to bring up the Controls menu.

    For the default controls menu, click the crescent moon icon at 6 o'clock. 

    This toggles DND On & Off

    The controls menu is user configurable, so might be in a different position or not there at all, but is easily added if needed.

    On my watch this toggle Do not have impact. Still screen on.

    Did you wait for the display to turn off after turning on DND?

    On my Venu, after manually turning on DND and the display turns off, it doesn't turn back on via gestures, only by key presses.

    it just set display on always on. So I still have hours and what is strange different compared to sleep mode. gesture do not activate display so it's intermediate solution. But I would like to disable completely.
