I'm using a Venu Sq, sw. ver 2.50. I've configured three one-time alarms: 06:00, 06:15 and 06:30. Every evening I usually enable the former two. On about every other day (let's assume the reproducibility rate is about 50%), one of the alarms goes off at a time where minutes are divisible by 5, e.g. 22:50 or 21:35. Further info:
- I tend to snooze both of the alarms a couple of times before I finally decide to get out of bed
- Sometimes I disable the alarms by clicking the red "X" when they go off and sometimes I disable them manually before they trigger for the nth time on that particular morning
- The misfire of an alarm always happens within 10 minutes from enabling then
- I cannot tell if a number of alarms enabled/pre-set plays any role in here
- When an alarm misfires and I disable it, it won't go off at the correct time in the morning
My suggestion is that probably there is a "flag" in the software which indicates whether the alarm is snoozing (i.e. triggering every 10 minutes after the set time) or not. This flag is probably not correctly cleared when an alarm is enabled or disabled.
I have found similar bugs reported for other models which sound exactly like the problem I'm describing: https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/healthandwellness/f/venu/248642/venu-alarm-bug https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/healthandwellness/f/vivoactive-4-series/282269/vivoactive-4-alarm-goes-off-at-the-wrong-time.
I would appreciate a fix for this problem. Thank you!
