Replacing broken Left pedal with 3S pedal?

Hi,

I recently crashed and ruined my left side pedal.

Would it be possible to buy a 3S and use the new left side pedal along with the old right side pedal?

  • You could do that, but you should also be able to get just the left side pedal body. I would suggest contacting Garmin Support.

    Thanks for your response,
I forgot to mention the left pedal spindle is deformed where the wrench flats transition before the pedal body, so the whole spindle is no longer axially aligned.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the spindle portion of the pedal is where all the electronics and bulk of the cost of the pedal are.
  • If the spindle is damaged then you will need to replace the whole pedal. I would still suggest contacting Garmin Support and see if they might offer you some deal I hope you are OK, it must have been some crash to have bent the spindle.
